When evaluating the sustainability of a construction project, it is important to verify influence climate uncertainty and depletion natural resources that permeate strategies make infrastructure possible, especially those associated with transportation sector, which have great potential generate environmental impacts. Thus, objective this study evaluate effect subgrade material variation, constitutes highway pavements flexible surfacing, can in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) these infrastructures. For purpose, had same materials thicknesses for execution base (gravel soil-NG') subbase (clay soil LG'), but subgrades composed different types tropical soils, classified as lateritic non-lateritic, were proposed.
